This two year full-time course offers you a nationally recognized qualification in hairdressing. The course is detailed, carefully planned and designed to give you a wide variety of technical skills. Training at the College is real – students train under real business working pressures.

Selection is by personal interview. You must have a commitment to your studies, have a proven interest in this area and have evidence of good skill in practical subjects.
You will study the following:

Health and Safety
Give clients a positive impression of yourself and your organization
Advice and consult with clients
Cutting hair
Style and finish hair
Changing hair colour
Plaiting and Twisting
All Archbishop Okoth VTC students receive tutorial support and take a programme of Functional Skills including Computer proficiency, Entrepreneurship, Business Calculation and Communication Skills.
